Thursday & Saturday Yoga this Week!

Sarah | FEB 3

How are y’all holding up after being absolutely blanketed by all this snow?! ❄️

I thought I was going stir-crazy last weekend… but now I really find myself craving sunshine, fresh air, and longer days. For now, I’m choosing to lean into some much-needed rest and reset while it’s here, cozy moments, slow mornings, and giving the body permission to pause.

Spring is coming and until then, I’m trusting this season to do what it does best: invite us to rest so we’re ready to bloom. What better way to do just that, than with yoga!

🌿 This Week’s Yogi Inspiration — Aparigraha (Non-Attachment)

This week, I’ve been sitting with the idea of Aparigraha, the yoga practice of non-attachment.

For the past month, my best friend has been in town with her newborn daughter, my goddaughter, and getting to spend that time together has been incredibly special. And now that she’s gone back home, I feel the ache of missing her… while also knowing, deep in my bones, that her path is exactly right and so is mine.

Aparigraha doesn’t mean we don’t care.
It doesn’t mean we don’t miss people.
It means learning how to love without holding too tightly.

Yoga reminds us that we can stay connected even when paths move in different directions. Distance doesn’t undo love. Change doesn’t erase support. Sometimes the practice is trusting that we can walk our own journeys while still holding space for one another.

On the mat, Aparigraha might look like releasing a pose before pushing too far.
In life, it means choosing trust over holding on, not because we care any less, but because we accept things as they are.

This week, I’m reminding myself that love doesn’t disappear when things shift, it simply takes on a new shape.

So I ask you, Where in your life are you being invited to loosen your grip and trust the process?
